The Graphotype 6200 “Dog Tag” machine is a good choice when  a production machine is needed but your budget does not allow for our 6300 series.

Operation is quick and easy. To emboss, the operator simply inserts a blank plate into the plate jaw, turns the character wheel with the left hand until the pointer coincides with the desired character on the character scale, and trips the embossing lever with the fingertips of the right hand.  The carriage automatically spaces each character. Spaces between words are obtained by pressing the space lever, mounted directly in front of the trip lever, with the thumb of the right hand.

Changes and corrections are made by backspacing  which makes it easy to  re-emboss the tag. The jaws are specifically designed and engineered to fit the military “dog tag.” Because of its versatility, the 6200 can  be applied  to a wide range of embossing applications.

Simplicity and ease of operation make possible production speeds of 50 or more tags/plates per hour.
